The state will support electric vehicles and other alternative fuels. Municipalities and regions are to receive the new funding in a pilot program.
Cars with alternative propulsion, such as electric vehicles and vehicles running on gas, will receive new support from the state. The subsidy is intended for municipalities and regions, and those interested can apply through the program, Životní prostředí. The budget stands at one hundred million Czech Crowns, but the amount may increase. The subsidy may be open to individuals next year. According to Minister of the Environment, the goal is to reduce air pollution, especially in urban areas, reduce noise levels, and support the demand for alternative cars.
